4XM Vehicle Kit
By Carmen M. Morris
Kit works great. It was dissimilar from the original kit that came with the radio. The introductory kit had an option to hang the radio from the A/C vent, this one did not. The only choices are to mount it to the windshield or using adhesive to mount it to the dash itself. I chose to mount to the windshield. It is very solidly mounted. I don’t actually like this mounting option though, because in the dark, the screen is very bright and lights up my whole car. It is likewise very distracting. If mounted in a dissimilar position (it is in the middle of the windshield) it might not be so distracting. This is mounted in a little SUV, with the antenna in the back coming through the tailgate, there was a great deal of wire left over by the time I got up front. I was even competent to hide the wiring in the cracks of the dash until I got to the top. (I applied a window screen repair tool to press the wire into all the cracks in the car and it worked very well and saved my fingers).

I’m glad I purchased this as it was intended for my husband’s truck, however, when we take long trips we always drive mine. So now we get the gains of being competent to swap the radio among vehicles.

4Great product
By David Hefti
I ordered this product for my work vehicle. The only complaint that I have is the glue on the back of the mounting bracket does not hold.

5Universal SiriusXM Vehicle Dock allows reciever to be moved amongst cars
By Matthew T. Davis
After the buy of a dissimilar car, I just wanted to be competent to move the SiriusXM receiver amongst cars – this was the solution.
This kit came with everything necessitated for the receiver – I only had to get the proper mount for the car. The installation directions were more or less generic, but they were great for the second car. I would recommend.
