1DLPK XpressKit on a G37
By M. KONG
This scheme is very troublesome. I purchased it to put in my Infiniti G37, thinking it would make the install easier. Unfortunately for me, after 20+ hours of being at a Certified Viper installation center, they said that they were unable to get the DLPK working the right way with the Viper 5901.

I ended up having to suck up the cost of the Viper 5901, the DLPK, and over[..] in non-refundable labor. After that, they put in a Hornet 727T which worked right out of the box, installed in less than two hours with all the extra modules i bought.

All in all, this DLPK module is not commended for Infiniti g37′s, even though it says full compatibility on the [...] website.

Don’t be slanged like i was.

1Bad quality and support
By Chris Storer
The firstborn unit I received was DOA. Of course I didn’t realize this until the car was torn apart, so I for the length of one night a 2nd one at my own cost. The 2nd one worked (at least somewhat). But I quickly found that even altho their aid site, www.bypasskit.com listed my car, a 2005 Subaru Legacy as compatible and had a ton of features, it did not.
My factory alarm armed and disarmed randomly, as did the door locks. Trunk pop didn’t work at all, it didn’t generate a tach signal, and the D2D wiring still required me to run the (-) status output wire for the bypass to work.

Worse yet, was that their own manual had the wrong wiring colors/diagram. However manuals for similar merchandise for my car included the rectify wiring, as luck would have it I had access to my car’s factory service manual and finish wiring diagrams to verify, but most installers or DIY’s won’t.

I returned both units, and hardwired everything myself – another pain because I had wired expecting to be competent to take vantage of this unit + the D2D feature.

Buyer beware on this one! I’ve employed their other modules for nissan/infiniti transponder bypass w/o a key with luck, but this module cost me a lot of time and money.
