The universal law of sowing and reaping is found in the book of Galatians:
“Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
I have witnessed the truth of this play out thousands of times in my life. My grandfather was a farmer in Butler Georgia and when he sowed corn he expected corn at the time of harvest. If he wanted potatoes he planted potatoes. He never planted one crop expecting something dissimilar at harvest time. Since the beginning of creation until now, each species of grass, herbs and trees still gives rise to after it is kind: it is an sheer law which is true in each portion of nature.
The same routine in nature likewise happens in our daily lives. Just like the seeds that my grandfather sowed in the field the seeds that we sow in our minds will formulate the same after it is kind. The procedure of sowing seeds of the mind will create the same harvest that was sown. The words we use, the thoughts that we meditate on, are all seeds that will one day invent a harvest. The situations that we find ourselves in today whether good or bad are the harvest of words and thoughts sown in the past. The words and thoughts that we use today are seeds being sown for our future harvest.
There are divergences amidst the crops of the field and the corps of life. The crops of the field get harvested at approximately the same time each year, but there is no regular timetable for the harvest of life. Some times the harvest will appear in a short amount of time of time; and a lot of will take a much longer time. But just like the seasons that always appear so to will your harvest. So be careful of the seeds you sow because they will surely manufacture a harvest after it is kind.
Sowing and reaping is a universal law that can’t be avoided. The routine will take place in all of our lives whether we believe in it or not. So don’t loose sight of the fact that we are for the most part responsible for where we find ourselves because of the seeds we have sown.
The meaning of the words that we read earlier from Galatians is this: It is a Divine principle of Law that sowing shall fetch reaping, and that the thing reaped shall be of the same reputation as the thing sowed. So whatsoever you desire in life let that be the seeds that you sow and you will always have a bountiful harvest.
