great alternate remote

I purchased this for an old genie opener from the mid 90s.
The good: It works. The programming instruction is clear and easy to follow. I prefer these kind of jumper settings, rather than the “clicker” where you pressed buttons in sure sequence to program. The unit is little and light, may put in pocket.

The bad: The mounting bracket is not that utile and I may live without it. I likewise detect the lag time and takes a while for me to get used to. Range is minimal, as expected in universal remote of this size. And is anybody going to make a multi-button portable universal remote? (not the clicker..)

Bottom line: For the price this is a good deal. It advertises that it supports a wide range of models. It is a outstanding substitute or secondary remote.

Mediocre at best.

These openers work ok at best! If you have anything like “Homelink” in your vehicle, these remotes will not let you program it;They don’t stay ‘on’ long enough. It also takes 2 or more press’ of the button to open your garage door, and even then it still takes everlastingly to open. I recognise it is not my garage door because any other device I use to open it with works immediately.
It was bot very easy to program. The only nice thing is the compact size.
