Brst Kight Yet !!
By Tony Turnbull
This Was The Old Days———
I was using a popular video light with a shoulder strap battery pack. These are awkward and heavy to carry around. And the light has NO DIMMER so bright is the only setting there is. And don’t even think regarding battery life, half way through a wedding the light is so dim it was no longer effective. who has the time to recharge your battery pack when there is so much going on at your event. Not Me. And don’t even mention the battery cord tangle problems…
These are My New Day’s———-
But then I ordered this model of the 126 LED video light. All I may say is WOW. It will except with regards to 6 dissimilar styles of rechargeable battery packs (with the battery adapter) or you may just pop in 6 AA batteries and you are on your way. The LED’s DO NOT give off the heat like the popular bulbs and have a low power draw so you may keep filming for longer periods of time. When your batteries do get low (check power level with a handy one push test button) just alter out your 6 AA batteries (about 45 seconds) and you are back to catching the action. This light is a life save in my business. With the three defuse-rs (three dissimilar colors) you may go from a hard spot type light to a very warm soft flush. With full control of light intensity with it’s built in dimmer on the side of the unit. Whether you are a beginner or professional, this light is a will have to have. I use it now for my [...] videos and could not be happier. Lightweight-Powerful-great light output- and NO CORDS.

Great Video Light value – modded it to stop the flop!
By Tim LP
I ordered this light to use at a wedding shoot this past weekend. My Sony camcorder works great in low light, but I wanted further and added light for the Formal Dances. With this unit, I was competent to dial in just sufficient to brighten things up without blinding everybody. I applied Duracell batteries for the shoot, and since I didn’t have the light cranked up all the way, the batts lasted all around the night.
One thing that troubled me, and I’ve seen other reviewers as well, is the tendancy for the light head to flop over, even even though the two adjusting knobs are very tight. When I took the knobs off and disunited the parts, I came upon that the contacting surfaces are very smooth. So, in order to stop ‘em from floppin’, I decisive to see what I could do to add a little friction amongst the aid parts. I have a jar of “star washers” from my dad, so I chosen two that would fit the screw threads of the two tightening knobs. What I did next probably will void the warranty, so you have been informed.
Since the plastic elements fit reasonably tightly, adding the thickness of the star washers will make the fit too tight, and perhaps break something. Using a file, I took off some of the plastic from both ends of the center adjustment arm – I only filed on one side of this piece. Next I fitted the arm into the piece with the camera shoe mount, and pushed one of the star washers in between. Then I pushed the tightening knob through and into the nut on the other side. I repeated this procedure with the other star washer and the arm into the mount on the light.
Now when I use the light, it may be adjusted and tightened with the selfassurance that it will stay in position. No more funny looks as you video someone, or embarassment for you, as your light flops over! This mod ought to work on other similar 126-LED video lights from other vendors.

Nice powerful light for a cheap price
By RamyG4c
Got 2 of these and Amazon raised their prices after one week of receiving them which is good for me.
The light as other reviewers cited does what it’s supposed to do very functional, tried all the battery mounts that came with it and all of them work, the dimmer works outstanding and the light looks good. Not utterly 5600K altho but wasn’t expecting that at this price range anyways.
The lower handle shoe mount is cheap plastic and does not seem to take a lot of beat, will try replacing it with another mount.
