poor documentation and programing

Documentation very poor if you wish to program t.v. to be to channel 3 and turn on both tv and dvd player together in order to watch a dvd for example. Same limitation to watch cable or satellite. No response from Phillips aid in spite of repeated request. I believe you basi jog the dial to tv activity, then select channel 3, then jog the dial to dvd, turn on dvd. Not what a remote this pricey and supposedly programmable must be so limited.

Wished it worked as well as it looks.

The remote looks very cool and was easy to set up, but it the end it went back. The scroll wheel is isn’t that smooth and while clever is in truth annoying since you need to scroll through the dissimilar activenesses or devices. Direct access to functions would be requiring little effort and quicker. Also, touch screen would shut down speedily (probably to conserve batteries) but it became annoying since it was too quick. Decided to try the Harmony One.

A versatile remote with poor controls

This is a great remote for macros, but offers very little when it comes to controlling person devices. Most of the commands I would commonly use are all there, but they must be accessed with the jog wheel. The jog wheel doesn’t have without apparent effort distinguishable increments, so you may effortlessly nudge it with your thumb and without advance planning swap devices. To get to the command you want on the jog wheel you have to scroll too far galore times. I was initially drawn to this remote because it looked outstanding and didn’t have that a lot of buttons, but the software doesn’t make up for the buttons that the remote doesn’t have. I’ll soon be replacing it.
