Ahh, It kinda works
By J. Lomeli
I’ve had this for a few weeks now and for the most percentage it serves it is aim well. It has adaptable velcro belts that will have to grant for it to be mounted on just regarding any new vehicle headrest.
For me,this product has two things that keep it from being great. If your headrest has an aggressive tilt to the back of the headrest then the iPad will be tilted upward/downward and makes it hard to see the screen (obviously). Second, once you slip the iPad into place you’ll find that the continuous motion of the vehicle will make the iPad bounce and makes it difficult to see the screen.
My quick home solutions for the 1st flaw: put a wedge to level it.
Solution for the 2nd flaw: rubberband it to keep it from vibrating.
Overall, I like it and don’t regret purchasing it.

Great iPad Mount – If you understand how to use it…
By Mj
I purchased this iPad mount so that my son may use my iPad as a video player on car trips. I may effortlessly slide my iPad onto the mount, and grab it quickly when we get out of the car. My iPad stays in the case the whole time, so there’s no hassle with sliding it out of one thing into another. It’s very simple, very easy, just grab and go. It’s precisely what I was looking for.
I was concerned when it comes to purchasing this due the negative reviews, but examining the photos Amazon provided gave me the impression that a lot of folks do not comprehend how the mount is meant to be used. Now that I have the product, I know that is true. There were no instructions provided with my mount, so I may effortlessly understand why persons were unclear on how to make it work.
To use this mount, You MUST have your iPad in a case that is of a similar design to the Apple case that lets you use it as a stand. Some humans have brought up having to take the iPad out of the case to get it in the mount, which is not how this mount is meant to be used.
The mount is designed to hold the iPad by the front flap of the case. You thread the front panel of the case beneath a strap, and secure the bottom of the iPad case in little plastic hooks on each side. These are meant to grip the case, NOT the iPad itself.
The reviewers that state that the holder covers the iPad are using it incorrectly. No percentage of the mount covers the screen at all if you are using it properly. If you are sliding your iPad beneath the strap that is meant to hold the front flap of the case, you using the mount incorrectly and you could harm your screen in the process. (The photos Amazon has provided show how to slide the iPad case into the mount.)
Snugg likewise makes a leatherish case that is similar in design to the Apple case. It is shown in the picture. The cases by AYL/Yoobao look closely identical to the Snugg. I have the AYL/Yoobao case, and it fits perfectly into the mount. (I actually like the AYL/Yoobao case, it has magnets that hold the flap closed, which is nice. It’s a little thicker than the Apple microfiber case, but it provides a little more protection, gives having little impact access to the controls, and doesn’t have any sharp edges. It’s also a few dollars less than the Apple case.)

Good idea, poor execution
By Marta Predko
I was looking for an iPad holder for our long trip to FL so my daughter may watch her bestloved cartoons. This looked like a good idea, nonetheless the top strap is too wide and covers the controles, i.e. if you want to stop the movie or go back and watch a dissimilar one you have to hold the strap up and it was a pain on our 2-day trip. I will have to have done it like 20 thousand times! I would not commend this product to anybody.
