Sounds like a trashcan, where it belongs

The positive reviews of this item are plainly written by Jensen employees. This thing sounds utterly horrific. I sent it back the same day I got it. I can’t imagine how it was ever permitted to be put on the market. It looks kinda cool (though better in the pictures), but it sounds disgusting. It sounds so bad, it would be funny if I weren’t so angry in regards to it. The only kind of music that sounds fine on this scheme is light acoustic music; if you play anything remotely upbeat, or, god forbid, anything with drums or even trumpets, the sound turns to crap immediately. It doesn’t support when you adjust the volume on the system or the iPod. Sometimes the mix itself is terrible; there are sure songs where the vocals just altogether drop out, and you’re left with just a tinny replica of drums and a keyboard riff. A veritably painful listening experience. Save your sanity and buy a Bose, Crosley or Sony system.

Frustrated

I just purchased this speaker station for my 8th gen ipod nano. Sound is just ok, I imagine a sub-woofer would actually make a difference, but I don’t have an external one. But the scheme won’t charge my ipod; just a message on the ipod that charging it is “not available with this accessory”. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t, but will be sending it back.

This docking station has turned out to be an splendid purchase. It was a gift for a very discerning person who found it easy to set up, easy to use and of great quality.
