Distorted Sound

I picked this up at Walmart for somewhat cheap since my initial cassette adapter was starting to break down. I was impressed at how quiet it was in the tape deck but then when I started listening to music, I noticed that everything sounded distorted. It has to do with the resistor values in the adapter, so I am going to swap out the resistors with the ones from my old tape deck and hopefully that will have to repair the distortion problem. I would commend looking for a better tape adapter.

destroyed my tape deck

This thing destroyed my delco car stereo. It went in, and the stereo went on an endless rewind which made functioning impossible. It also wouldn’t eject. To get it out, I had to ruin both the item, and harm the (no longer functioning anyway) car stereo. Cost me $100 for a new stereo. It would be more fun to inject beer into your stereo. The ensuing electrical fire might be fun to watch, and you won’t be cursing “griffin” (whoever that is) for two hours, attempting to get beer out of your radio.

Best $16 I have ever spent

I purchased this product at target for the aforementioned price and it has lasted me for over a year…sure, I have to rewind it occassionally (not sure why, but I do) then it proceeds working for another 6 mos. until I need to rewind it again.
