The book I wish I had when I started
By Chuck J. Rylant
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RJ22EUY4C4HUQ I expected a book light on content and for the most part an up-sell, as most other similar books are. And I wouldn’t have been disappointed by that as long as it included a few gems for such a little price. However, I was enjoyably astonished the book was full of great content that other info merchandise that cost among $700 and $1500 for similar content.

More like a course than a book on Information Marketing.
By Frank M. Meyers
I am on my second reading of this book and it is as good as any full course on the subject of Information Marketing I’ve seen. The back covers pretty much tells you what you will get in the book along with a heap of case studies. I peculiarly liked the intro by Dan Kennedy the virtual founder of Information Marketing. Lots of bang for the buck with this book!

Follow a Bright Shining Star
By Benjamin W. Glass
First, full disclosure: I am brought up in the book.
Now, that having been said, any person who has ever thought in regards to starting a business where the necessary product is data (ie, you publish a manual, you do webinars for profit, you conduct seminars, etc) must start out with this book. You CAN build a million dollar business. It took me 24, not 12 months, but I was doing it on a portion time basis. Don’t be fooled. This is work. None of that “sitting home in your underwear opening envelopes filled with checks stuff.”
But… if you are going to do it, unquestionably invest in this book first. It is a step by step guide to the work required to build your business. There is no need to reinvent the wheel (as galore early creators of selective information productions had to do.) There are a good deal of successful info-marketers noted in the book. Track them down and ask them questions. You may find one or more folks already in your niche area. That may mean that there is actually a market for the type of info you are going to sell.
Bottom line is that starting a new business from scratch is NOT for everybody. But if you are THINKING with regards to starting an info retail business you’d be a fool to not invest the $15.00 or so in this book first. The very best at it today show you how in this book. So you need to find and follow a bright shining star. Not to copy straightout what they have done but to learn from their successes and messes.
