If you’re a ham radio operator and have time on your hands, you might consider volunteering for Public Service, it is one of the most worth while things you could ever do. Every ham has a good deal of emergency communications capability and those who are in particular fascinated in Public Service commonly associate with an organised group for disaster training, emergency attainments and quick mobilisation.
