Elegant and well-written, this is one of the few books to take a realistic look at American popular cultural technology. Historians and archaeologists coupld learn a lot from this case study.

5The Portable Radio Book

IF you want to recognise anything and/or everything there is to know regarding the evaluation of Portable Radios here in the US, this is the book to have. He starts out in the 20′s with data regarding “portables”, radios with heavy batteries strapped to Bicycles and buggies, to the present with Shirt pocket and littler radios. Lots of Photos of Popular 40′s & 50′s models. A outstanding book for a person who Collects old Radios.
