good if you are new to the hobby
This book provides a lot of information. If you are new to the sideline this is great book to have in the shack. If you have been into ham radio for more than a year most of this info will be old, you must already have this selective information in other books. The chapters on emergency communications and traffic handling are gorgeous much a waste, if a major disaster happened the last thing I would be thinking when it comes to is radio. It seems like a good share of the book is the popular league propoganda on how they what actions to occur on the air. After careful considerateness this book is not worth $25
