The primarily loved 1941 Steelcraft U.S. Army Patrol Plane inspired our pedal planes. Our plane is made of the same heavy guage steel, just like the originals. We added chrome and a large total of it. Our windshield, steering wheel, exhaust prots, hood scoops, propeller and hub caps are all chrome. When this plane is pedaled, the propeller turns. Plane features a padded seat. Ages 2 to 6 years old and adult supervision required.

Not up for the flight By Mommy of 3 American-retro Pretty In Pink Pedal Airplane This airplane was given to our daughter for her 2nd birthday. Although an endearing gift that she was so excessively affected emotionally to ride, it just did not hold up to expectations. It may not be pedaled for one thing because you may not steer it. It is a big and bulky toy that is now parked in her room. Not actually what they giver had in mind. Also, the steering wheel comes off rather without apparent effort and the screws that hold it in place (or do not hold in place) may be a choking hazard. Cute concept, but still needs more work.

Fantastic toy By D. Welty We purchased this for my niece for Christmas 2 years ago. Her dad is a pilot and she loves anything that is pink so it seemed like a perfective fit. When we gave it to her, she could not reach the pedals, but she has since grown into it. Her parents keep it in her bedroom when she isn’t riding it. She has been very happy with the plane. Assembly took a few hours, but it never made me want to grab 2 beers and jump. You do need to check the nuts and bolts sporadically to make sure they stay tight.
