From AudioFileThis drama on the life of Jesus is solidly structured and well performed. Further, it’s genuinely invented for the ear, with sound effects–a scraping sword, the clink of coins being counted, and, even more impressive, crowd scenes over a huge distance. As for the cast, one or two of their accents are a bit out of place, but overall they serve the aim of making it possible to without delay tell Luke and Mary from other male and female voices. Finally, the story is paced well for dramatic effect (except that it starts off slowly). There are only two distractions. Framing the story of Jesus as a narrative of “news” from the Middle East comes off as gimmicky, and the background music is overdone. Very Interesting

Focus on the Family has another quality product! We use audio books alot when traveling and this one is of course safe for the whole family, very thought and discussion provolking. I would commend that children must be at least age 7 or so in order to follow the story. It is a very interesting way to interpret this Gospel. Our family has found it very pleasurable and we have listened more than once.

Wonderful audio on life of Christ!!

I was uncertain as to the accuracy of the audio of the life of Christ, but have found it to be not only exact but very stimulating to listen to. I love it and genuinely commend this to any person who would like to listen to a fresh description of the life of Christ. Focus on the Family endorses it and I have veritably enjoyed each minute of it. I even downloaded it to our I-Pod.

Dramatic recording of Luke

I purchased this as a gift and this was gladly received. It makes the story of Luke and his attempts to write the gospel and Acts come to life. Enjoyable to listen to.
